 There Is No Planet B  - Enviromental 

     Art Exhibition and Competition

16th Feb - arts and environment event at St Chad's 10pm-4pm. Lots of bands, 12pm till 4pm 

drama, artworks poems, all highlighting the importance of our wonderful planet and how we should look after it!! Free Art workshops for children with talented artist from our Stafford town

    Have fun celebrating 'Planet A'

    For the third year running St Chad's Church in Stafford will host the 'There Is No Planet B Enviromental Art Exhibition and Competition'. The Mayor of Stafford Borough will open the event at 11am on Sat 16th Feb and award the prizes at 2pm on Saturday 23rd Feb.

    Entries have been pouring in from schools and individuals and can be viewed St. Chad's all week from 10am till 4pm. Winning entries will also be displayed at the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Headquarters at Wolseley Bridge during Climate week from 4th to 10th March.

    There will also be some free art workshops with local artists and crafters. Also, new for this year are a variety of local performance artists to enhance this already popular event. On Sat 16th of Feb the entertainment will be from 12 noon. Bands are Working Class Heroes a young pop band, Acoustic classic Rock Band Naked Sunday, Interjam acoustic rock and country music, Kinks meet the Specials, Los Cabaneros who play Cuban and African music, Sarah Bilodeau with some Indie music, Steve Ison and Marissa Kay, and the Dave Barron Band.

    We also have Konnektiv Drama who will peform Street theatre throughout the afternoon. So look out for some lively characters on the high street throughout the day.

    So come along and have a good look at the work of local artists and poets, listen to a range of local performers, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee look around the wonderful old church and share in the appreciation of our amazing Planet A because remember There is No Planet B.
